Liverpool have won the tournament twice in recent years and will be looking at a hat-trick this time around as they have some excellent players representing them.
Alan Kennedy, John Aldridge and Paul Walsh are amongst the Reds squad who will be competing against Everton, Sheffied Wednesday and Sheffield United for a place in the national finals.
The tournament is on Sky Sports from 3pm.
