Liverpool fans asked to support ITV petition

KopTalk.com has been asked to help promote this petition to our wide audience and naturally we are pleased to help fellow Reds:

Hi Dunk

We have received a massive number of complaints about the scheduling of the Champions League (ITV 2 and ITN New Channel) and want to do something about it.

Liverpool games for the next two weeks are only being shown on ITV2 - and only 1 in every 20 pubs in the UK has the capabilities to show the game.

We are petitioning ITV for the following changes:

To show a live Champion’s League match on both Tuesday’s and Wednesday's so that most fans and most pubs can show at least one match.

To regionalize match coverage so that different channels can show local matches – e.g. Tyne Tees showing Newcastle games.

Liverpool fans can support our petition by clicking on the link below:

We want a minimum of 10,000 people signing this petition by 10.10.02 in order to force ITV to rethink its position. If we act now, we may be able to make changes within the next month.

Yours

The Sportspubs Team
