Dunn, who bases his game on Gazza, his idol, is happy at Blackburn but a move to a club such as Liverpool would naturally interest him.
With the England senior squad taking on Holland next week in a friendly, the midfielder is hoping to be included.
"All I can do is try my best for Rovers and if the England call comes as a result, that's a bonus," said Dunn.
"That's what Graeme Souness keeps telling me and that's the only way I can look at it.
"Playing for England would be a dream come true, but the moment I get carried away is the moment my form will tail off."
