Armand, a left full back who can also play in midfield, has been linked with a move away from La Beaujoure numerous times this season, with Manchester City, Manchester United and Blackburn Rovers also in the frame for his signature.
Liverpool scouts are said to have watched the 22 year-old on a number of occassions this year, with Gerard Houllier reportedly eager to strengthen the left side of defence.
Armand has previously spoken of his desire to make a move to the Premiership, with a fee quoted at 8 million Euro's.
