Liverpool have been linked with a possible move for Villa's Darius Vassell.
Villa are apparently hoping to complete the signing of Portsmouth's Peter Crouch and this is what has sparked speculation suggesting that Vassell will become available.
The chances of Graham Taylor cashing in on Vassell are very unlikely but it is Villa and they are a selling club so never say never.
