Liverpool not underestimating Watford

Liverpool go into the game holding a 1-0 lead from the first leg. However, Rafael Benitez says his team are aware that Watford are capable of causing a shock and will not take their opponents lightly.

He said: "Watford did well in the first leg, they had chances and we know they will be just as good in the second game. It will be difficult, a tough match and one we dare not take lightly.

"If we play as we know we can then we will win, if we play badly then we will have a problem for sure.

"Perhaps we have lost confidence and now we need to be strong mentally as a team. We know at the moment we are doing things badly, but we also know the right way that things will be done. We want to win this one. It's a final, a cup and the UEFA Cup. Of course we want to win it.

"We have our responsibility because we are here only to win. We will try each day, each week, each game to put it right.

"Now we know we are near to a final, this is very important. Very few teams play in finals during a season and this is a very big chance for us.

"If we win we know we will at least be in the UEFA Cup, that is vital for us. The fans want us to win the league and the Champions League, of course, but if it is not possible then we will want to win a cup."
