Spanish giants Real Madrid have invited Liverpool to take part in a four team pre-season tournament this summer.
Liverpool, AC Milan and Bayern Munich, Europe's four most successful clubs in European competition, look set to participate in the prestigious event as part of Real Madrid's centenary year.
"We are delighted to have been invited to such a prestigious tournament," said a Liverpool spokesperson.
The games will be played in Spain betwen 2nd and 4th August.
