Liverpool res v Man Utd res - televised live

Last updated : 19 September 2002 By Kop Talk News

The official Liverpool FC website will provide free internet commentary (no pictures) of this evening's reserve clash between the Reds and Manchester United. Click HERE for details.

MUTV will of course provide full, live coverage of the game. Sky and cable customers can contact their provider direct and have the channel added for one month at a cost of around £6. Sky can be contacted on Tel: 08702 404040.

Last year KopTalk was criticised for promoting MUTV but what's the difference between buying a ticket for a game at Old Trafford or paying around £6 to see the game on their channel? If Liverpool pulled their heads out of their arses and caught up with them, the majority of fans would of course subscribe to our own dedicated channel. However, as with everything, Liverpool fans are left behind and those who do not live in the area will have to decide if it's worth shelling out the price of a couple of pints to see the second string in action. In our opinion, it's worth every penny to see the kids and fringe players in action, it's just a shame you have to listen to the Mancs!
