Former West Ham defender Alvin Martin's son has passed a medical and agreed personal terms with the Reds.
"David has earned a wonderful move to Liverpool and it was impossible to stand in his way," said Dons boss Danny Wilson.
"It's a tremendous testament to the boy himself and the coaching staff and it will be very interesting to see how he does at Anfield."
