Liverpool midfielder Vladimir Smicer scored a late winner for the Czech Republic who turned Greece over in a 4-3 thriller in Limassol earlier this evening.

Smicer played a blinder after coming on as a sub at the start of the second half and was always in the thick of the action.

Liverpool striker Milan Baros played a full ninety minutes and worked his socks off.

Cyprus: Christodulu 25, Akis Ioakeim 68 , Michalis Konstantinou 88.
