Liverpool v Birmingham: Match Preview

Last updated : 29 November 2003 By Kevin Smith
Liverpool go into Sunday's game two points behind Birmingham in 9th place, having already lost five league games and only won two of their last seven.

Birminham had a fantastic start to the season, but have only won one game, at Bolton, in their last seven, although they have kept more clean sheets (8) than any other Premiership club so far this season.

The only time Birmingham have won a league game at Anfield was way back in 1978, although both clubs have only managed one win apiece in their last six meetings going back to 1995.

Harry Kewell is one away from 50 league goals, while Danny Murphy will be hoping to make his 150th start and 300th appearance for Liverpool.
