Liverpool will be without Anthony Le Tallec and Florent Sinama Pongolle , who have ankle injuries, and Steve Finnan who still has an injured shoulder, aswell as long-term absentees Vladimir Smicer, Salif Diao and Chris Kirkland.

But Steven Gerrard, who limped off the field with a knocked ankle in the midweek victory over Portsmouth, should be fit.
