The Mirror's Liverpool based journo Dave Maddock has today named Steffan Effenberg, Bixente Lizarazu, Chris Riggott, Lee Bowyer, Djibril Cisse and Nicolas Anelka as possible summer targets.
Effenberg and Lizarazu have both been linked numerous times in the past while Rigott, Bowyer and Cisse have all been closely monitored this season.
Nicolas Anelka's future depends on his brother's demands (who act as his agents) but Gerard Houllier may consider a sneeky move for West Ham's Frederic Kanoute who has admitted that he may have to quit the Hammers in the summer.
