Dejan Lovren's return to full fitness will take a step forward tonight.
The Croatian defender will play for the Under-23s against Chelsea at Prenton Park (7pm kick-off).
A knee injury has kept him out of Jurgen Klopp's first team since the Chelsea game in January, but has more recently been suffering with his back.
If he comes through tonight's game unscathed he could well feature in the Premier League clash at Manchester City on Sunday.
