Lucas not planning on leaving

Press reports yesterday claimed the Brazilian was thinking about leaving Liverpool to get regular first team football and force his way into the Brazilian squad for the 2010 World Cup. However, the midfielder insists there is nothing in the story.

"I've got three more years to go on my contract and I'm really happy here. My girlfriend is happy in Liverpool and everybody at the club is supporting me. I have never thought about leaving," said Lucas.
