"We have never had any doubts about his credentials and ability," said the assistant manager.
"He was terrific today but we are not surprised about that.
"We feel this is a very strong, focused and determined bunch of players and the joy is they are all willing to work hard and improve, and as a coach and manager that is all you can ask from players."
