Luzi was signed for Liverpool by Gerard Houllier from French side Monaco. He made one subsitute appearance for the Reds, appearing in a 1-0 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in 2004.
Luzi was released from his contract by Rafael Benitez at the end of last season.
