Lyon not rushing to sell Malouda

Liverpool want to sign the French international winger and Lyon were prepared to sell. However, Chelsea have now also entered the frame and so Lyon are content to hold onto Malouda while the Reds and the Chavs bid against each other.

Liverpool were hoping to pay around £8m for Malouda but since Chelsea entered the race Lyon have stuck a £17m price tag on the player.
