Manchester City v Liverpool - Early team news

Jerzy Dudek will be back between the sticks for Sunday's Premiership clash at Manchester City, after Chris Kirkland fractured a finger during Boxing Day's victory over Bolton.

John Arne Riise is doubtful after twisting an ankle in the same game. Steven Gerrard has a bruised shin, but is unlikely to be rested.

City will be without the suspended Joey Barton and Paolo Wanchope who is about to have a cartilage operation.
