Marcus hell-Bent on Reds target

Bent, who is currently on-loan with the Foxes from first division Ipswich Town, broke his duck for his current side in Liverpool's 2-1 win at Anfield earlier this season and he is desperate to add to his goalscoring tally this Sunday.

Bent said: That is the standard of opposition you really like to score against. They are a top-five team every year, they maybe should have won more than they have, but they are still a great club.

"I would say the three points are more important for us than them. They are going for the fourth spot, that is the sort of target a team like Liverpool can have, while we are hoping to keep outside the bottom three.

"We have not got a young squad and maybe this would be the last chance for some of them to stay in the Premiership.

"As a boy, I supported Liverpool. Ian Rush, John Barnes and Peter Beardsley were my favourites. No disrespect to their players now but I don't think they have got that same quality at the moment.

"Don't get me wrong, I am not under-estimating them at all. They didn't do too well in the week (when they were knocked out of the UEFA Cup) and maybe that will spur them on against us.

"All we know is that we need three points, they are not playing so well and it might not be a bad time to play them. If we can hustle and bustle them, play our little bit of football, get at them from the first whistle, I am sure we can come away with something."
