Mascherano's four game suspension is over and he has recovered from the injury picked up in the defeat to Portsmouth on December 19th. He will be straight back into the starting line-up for tomorrow's game at Stoke.
"Javier has been training well and will be involved," confirmed Rafael Benitez.
"It will be good to have him back and he will give us options."
