Masch ban extended

The Liverpool midfielder was sent off against Man Utd for asking dickhead referee Steve Bennett "what's happening?" and was given a one match ban. That ban has been extended to three games after Mascherano refused to leave the pitch and tried to confront the nobhead who sent him off. Mascherano was also fined £15,000.

"Although we received a fair hearing we must now decide whether to appeal on the basis of inconsistency of sentencing for Javier based on past precedents," said a club spokesman.
