Masch praises team spirit

Liverpool have had an excellent start to the season, sitting joint top of the league after a third of the campaign. Javier Mascherano says the fantastic spirit in the squad is responsible for the Reds' current position.

"All the players are giving everything for us and that is very important," said the midfielder.

"This is why the team is playing so well at the moment, it is because of our teamwork which has been fantastic."
