The Argentinian midfielder hopes to start against PSV tonight after missing Saturday's win over Everton through injury.
"I am okay after resting for more or less a week," said Mascherano.
"Obviously I was very disappointed to miss the derby but thankfully my teammates did a great job to keep our level and keep us at the top of the table.
"Now I am available for PSV. I'm in the squad and it's up to the manager if I play."
