The Argentinian midfielder missed the derby win because of suspension but Rafael Benitez has confirmed he will be straight back into the starting line up for tonight's Champions League game against Arsenal.

"Javier will be available for the first leg, he will start this game," said the Liverpool boss.

"He was playing well before the suspension and there is no doubt he will be important for us at Arsenal."
