Masch told he's staying

With Xabi Alonso likely to join Real Madrid shortly, Rafael Benitez is adamant he won't be selling Mascherano to Barcelona. Although Mascherano is happy at Anfield, his wife is said to be homesick and that has fuelled rumours of a move.

If Mascherano agrees to commit his future to Liverpool then the Reds will begin talks with him about an improved contract.
