Reds boss Benitez is known to be a fan of the 26 year-old Spaniard, and with Valencia now said to be looking for a replacement striker, rumours are abound that the frontman could have a future at Anfield.

A deal could come as soon as the winter transfer window, with Valencia more than aware that Mista could otherwise leave on a free come next Summer.
