Liverpool veteran Gary McAllister has been linked with a possible switch to Coventry City following the sacking of Roland Nilsson as manager.

McAllister, who will hang-up his Anfield boots in the summer, has been tipped to take over as player-manager, which is what you'd expect the papers to be saying today.
