McAuley praises Otsemobor

With the Irish right-back ruled out for four weeks through injury and Jamie Carragher not expected back until the new year, Otsemobor is hoping to get a call up from Gerard Houllier.

"Semmy has shown a greater consistency in his game this season and if any opportunities were to come his way he will have fully deserved it," said McAuley.

"With the first team squad there are a number of players who can play in two or three different positions so that is up to the manager."
