Former Liverpool midfielder Steve McManaman has again been made available for transfer by Real Madrid in an attempt to cut their wage bill.
The European Cup winners have tried to off-load Macca several times in the past but reports this time suggest they will give him away if need be because of his atronomical wages - although they are going to try and invite bids at around £4million for his services.
Signed on a Bosman free, Macca is only a fringe player these days but he's not looking for a move himself as he's settled in Madrid.
Arsenal are said to be keen on bringing him back to England to cover for the injured Robert Pires but they are apparently unwilling to meet his current wage demands.
