Mellor scores again as reserves win 4-2

Liverpool striker Neil Mellor scored his 45th(!) goal of the season this evening as the Reds reserve side beat Bolton 4-2 at home.

The young striker, who is attracting major interest from several Premiership clubs, put in yet another fine performance. Paddy Berger netted twice and Gregory Vignal also found the net.

Liverpool Reserves: Kirkland, Otsemobor, Vignal, Wright (Culshaw 75), Warnock, Biscan, Barmby, Baros (Welsh 87), Mellor, Berger, Diomede.

Subs: Partridge, Harrison, Culshaw, Welsh, Sjolund.
