Mellor will get a chance

Mellor scored twice for the reserves in midweek to bring his ratio up to three goals in four games and his goal-scoring record has been noticed by the manager.

Benitez said: "Perhaps Mellor will get a chance. We have a lot of games and he is playing well now. He scores goals and I'm sure there will be a possibility for him."
