Liverpool midfielder Patrick Berger is considering his Anfield future after discovering that the club are only to offer him a one year extension to his current deal.
While team-mate and close pal Vladimir Smicer has been offered a new 3-year-deal, Berger's hopes of agreeing a new 2-year deal were dashed when only a year's extension was offered to him due to his recent injury problems.
