Milan want Eto'o

Liverpool have been one of the clubs linked with the Barcelona striker in recent weeks, but Ancelotti is hopeful that if he does decide to leave the Nou Camp he will go to Italy.

"Eto'o is a great striker," he said. "But he is under contract with Barcelona. If there was a chance to sign him, I believe Milan would be there to negotiate.

"I know Milan are working towards making our team even more competitive. The arrival of Eto'o would be a fantastic signing for our future."
