Milestone for Carra

Carragher will make his 500th appearance for the club in tonight's FA Cup third round replay against Luton and will skipper the side to mark the occasion.

"Jamie will play tomorrow night. I was talking with Steven Gerrard and he said to me that whether he is in the team or not, Jamie should be the captain. So Carra will captain the side," said Rafael Benitez.
