Milito move looks likely

Rafael Benitez wanted to sign the Argentinian centre-back when he was at Valencia and now wants to bring the defender to Anfield. Although Zaragoza do not want to let Milito go, financial realities mean the deal will go through.

"We have not received a proposition from Liverpool for Milito, but the club is open to offers," said Zaragoza's Director of Sport Miguel Pardeza.
 
"Unfortunately the club needs to sell some players in the summer to ensure its survival.
 
"But we won't rush into any quick deals. Zaragoza have some very good players and interested clubs will pay what we believe is a fair price."
