The Championship side are struggling at the foot of the table and are keen to bring in new players who will be able to turn their season around.
After a successful spell on loan with coventry City, Partridge could be the answer, and it is possible that he may join the Millers on loan until the end of the season.
"We spoke to Liverpool about Ritchie Partridge but his agent has not been back to us yet," confirmed Rotherham boss Ronnie Moore.
