Mixed results for youth teams

The under 17's were beaten 4-3 by Crewe at the Academy after leading 2-0 and 3-1.

Manager Dave Shannon said: "We played some superb football and I couldn't believe we lost the match. To be fair Crewe couldn't believe they won it and were shellshocked they did so.
 
The under 19's beat Sunderland 2-1 to remain in second place behind Manchester United. Steven Gillespie and Melwood bound defender David Raven scored for Liverpool.

The under 19's have two games remaining this season.
