The Premier League chief executive has revealed that broadcasting rights may go to mobile providers or internet companies rather than TV channels.

"It is legally possible that none of the broadcasting rights go to television," he admitted.

"If a mobile operator stepped up to the plate they could buy live rights for mobiles and not let satellite telivision show it.

"Broadcast isn't just TV - it also means Broadband and mobile."
