Momo's return is imminent

Sissoko has been out since picking up a horrible eye injury when the Reds visited Benfica last month. Initally there were fears Sissoko could lose his sight and never play again but the Mali international has made good progress and is on the verge of returning to first team action.

"I think he'll be in the squad [for Birmingham]. I don't know if he can play yet but we've been trying all different types of glasses to protect the eye and we'll have to see." said Rafael Benitez.
