Liverpool's assistant boss Phil Thompson has been linked with a possible switch to Chelsea if Claudio Ranieri moves on.
Ranieri has been tipped to take over at Spanish giants Barcelona and if that happens, Thompson has been suggested as an ideal replacement.
We consider the speculation as nothing other than nonsense and we hate adding to it.
