Morientes move may fall through

Wanderley Luxemburgo, who coached the Brazil national team between 1998 and 2000 and led them to success at the 1999 Copa America, has replaced Mariano Garcia Remon after only three months in charge at the Bernabeu.

"Now that there is a new coach we will have to see what his opinion of the situation is," said Morientes' agent, Gines Carvajal.

"I don't believe that either the President or the club will simply dispense with the player without talking to a new coach."
