Morientes signs

The Spanish striker has agreed a three-and-a-half year contract and will be available for selection for Saturday's game against Manchester United.

"Fernando Morientes is now officially a Liverpool player and will be unveiled at a press conference on Friday," confirmed press officer Ian Cotton.
