Morrison in market for Heskey

The Republic of Ireland forward will come face to face with the burly forward when Steve Bruce's men host Liverpool this Saturday, and he admits that he would be delighted to see the much-maligned forward plying his trade in the Midlands permanently in the next campaign.

Morrison said: "I don't know Emile but I know of him. He's big, a handful and skilful. People say he doesn't score as many goals as he should, but he's still a very good player. He's proven.

"If we signed him, it would be good news, I wouldn't mind that. There have been stories about the manager and Alan Smith, as well as Kezman. It doesn't surprise you because he wants us to improve. You just wait to see what happens."

All talk of Heskey making a summer switch from Anfield will, however be far from Morrison's thoughts as he bids to find the net yet again against the Reds.

He added: "You always have bogey teams, maybe I'm their bogey man! I'd love it to be same again on Saturday. We're a bit disappointed with the results we've had, we want to finish with a flourish in front of our own fans."
