Mourinho looking forward to his 'super cup' tie

As managers of the European Cup winners and the UEFA cup winners respectively, Mourinho and Benitez were all set to meet each other in the Super Cup final in Monaco this season, before taking over at Chelsea and Liverpool.

Mourinho said: "Rafael Benitez is a fantastic manager. We should have met in the Super Cup instead of Victor Fernandez and Claudio Ranieri because we were the ones the Champions League and the UEFA Cup, but it will be nice to see him and to play against Liverpool."
