Mourinho nervous?

The Chelsea boss added that both teams would have to be careful of Betis and Anderlecht, who could easily complicate matters for Mourinho and the Reds.

Mourinho said: "Both teams are in a good condition after the first game. If we win tonight then fantastic, if we draw it's not bad and if we lose it's not a disaster."

"We both have to be careful though because the other teams in the group could make it difficult. Real Betis and Anderlecht have to play each other twice and if either side takes six points from those games then it means neither ourselves or Liverpool can sleep," he added.

And Mourinho admitted he was not overly concerned about finishing top of the group, pointing to last seasons campaign as proof.

He said, "It doesn't really matter if you come first or second in the group. We finished first last season and had to play Barcelona in the next round. Finishing first doesn't mean you get an easy game next time. Who would you rather face from Juventus and Bayern Munich's group in the next round, for example?"
