"We are looking to score goals but we have to keep them out at the other end," said Murphy.
"A clean sheet in this competition at home is as important as goals. We have conceded a few goals recently and that is a collective thing though.
"Our forte is defending and we have to put that right because in Didier Drogba they have a player that can capitalise on that."
