Murphy hoping for glory

The England international has six winners medals from his time at Anfield and he is eager to add more to his burgeoning collection with a new-look Liverpool side next season.

"The Cup final in Cardiff was one of those high points when you are proud to be a Liverpool player and a Liverpool fan," said Murphy.

"Those are the days everyone at the club expects and we are striving for that again next season."
