Murphy pulls out of international squad

The 26-year-old played the final matches of Liverpool's season with the injury but it has now been decided that he must fully rest the ailment. Murphy also looks set to miss England's crucial qualifier with Slovakia in June.

The FA said: Danny Murphy has had a kneck injury assessed by the England medical staff today. Unfortunately, Danny has had to withdraw from England's full summer schedule."
