"If I scored the winner then I'd absolutely love it," he said. "But it will have nothing to do with hate or agression or any of that nonsense.
"It's about personal pride. It's about winning for yourself, for your club and your friends.
"United are a great club with great players and, as Liverpool fan myself, I understand the rivalry that exists between the supporters.
"But it's a totally different rivalry to the one that the players have. Our rivalry is professional, not personal.
